SINUS
Sinuses are hollow pockets in the front of your skull that connect to your nasal passage. They help provide moisture to the air you breathe in. However, they are susceptible to infections, inflammation, and chronic conditions. Ailments such as headaches, tooth pain, drainage, and issues with smell and taste can all be caused by sinus problems.
EAR
Your ears are composed of three parts: the outer ear, the middle ear, and the inner ear. Each of these sections plays an important role with other parts of your body. Your ears, sinuses, eustachian tubes, nose, and throat all work together. Dr. Venu Divi ENT has experience treating many afflictions from common ear infections to chronic vestibular disorders.
NOSE
One of the most prominent features on a face, your nose influences how you look and how well you breathe. If you are having any sort of nasal symptoms, Dr. Venu Divi at the San Pedro clinic can help. He will be able to tell you if you are suffering from inflammatory, structural or functional issues. Dr. Divi has diagnosed conditions related to congestion, turbinates, valves, and more.
THROAT
From snoring at night, to simply having a common cold, a sore throat can be caused by different problems. Visit Dr. Venu Divi at the San Pedro Clinic in Los Angeles to get relief from your sore throat. Conditions such as lesions, throat abscesses, tonsillitis, and thyroid problems can all cause throat pain. Dr. Divi will be able to diagnose and treat whatever may be ailing you.
In a healthy person, sinuses are empty pockets in the front of the skull that are lined with a soft, pink tissue called mucosa. When your sinuses become inflamed, fluids build up in the pockets and germs start to grow. This is a sinus infection (aka sinusitis). Viruses are most likely to cause sinusitis but other factors include allergies, a weakened immune system, smoking, and structural problems in the sinuses such as nasal polyps. Symptoms of sinusitis are commonly congestion, runny nose, facial pain or pressure, headache, post-nasal drip, sore throat, and cough.
There are new, non-surgical procedures that may relieve the “stuffy nose” symptom. Simply fill out the NOSE Score survey to find out if one of these procedures is right for you. The survey will ask you to rate these common symptoms:
